Dead-end Flowpath Selectors (SD) - Low Pressure
The SD valve selects one of 4 to 16 closed flow paths, and the selected flow path flows from the outlet to the sample valve, pressure sensor, detector, column, respectively. The same configuration can also allow the flow path to flow to some outlets, EX：application of partial sample collection.

Common Outlet Flowpath Selectors (SC) - Low Pressure
The SC valve selects one of the closed flow paths 4 to 16, and the selected flow path flows from the outlet to the sample valve, pressure sensor, detector and column, respectively. The SC valve has a similar structure to the SD valve in this respect, but instead of the SD valve, the closed flow path is a "non-selective flow path" that flows to the common outlet.

Flow-Through Flowpath Selectors (SF) - Low Pressure
Similar to SD and SC valves, the SF valve selects a flow path to the outlet, but the SF valve allows non-selected flow to a separate outlet instead of a common outlet.

Trapping/Flow-Through Flowpath Selectors (STF) - Low Pressure
The STF valve is a variant of the SF flow path, the only difference is that the non-selective flow path flows back to its own vent instead of the closed flow path or adsorption flow path in the standard ST configuration.

ST valves are used for multi-column, multi-sample or multi-trap applications and have a choice of 4 to 16 sample loops or positions. This valve can be used between the injector and the detector to allow manual or motorized HPLC column selection.
